Ashen Creek DLC
Ashen Creek is Crime Simulator's paid district, released 11 August 2026 with a Steam USD listing price of $5.99 in the 30 Oct research. CookieDev says only the host needs to own the DLC for Steam co-op. That ownership rule comes from one developer reply, checked 30 Oct 2026; it is not a console DLC-sharing promise.

What the DLC page names
The listing says over nine unique spots, then the studio phrasing on the news side is nine, give or take. Named targets are a local jewelry store and a pharmacy. You can steal new cars. Pressure floors are a new trap. There are three new storage racks. The hideout gains a rave setup: a disco ball, a lit floor, and two LED panels.
The patch that followed
Version 1.5 on 9 August 2026 is the free runway: a chemist's workshop, a mystery-box piece of furniture, and a scoring pass. Version 1.56 on 22 August 2026 adds a car tied to police conditions, two item requests, and two jobs. Those 1.56 lines are news-post claims about the live game after the DLC, not a second copy of the DLC feature list.
Achievements inside the DLC and a separate difficulty are not listed. I am leaving both blank rather than assuming the 65 base-game achievements grew.
Questions
How much is it and when did it ship?
The DLC store listing is $5.99 and dated 11 August 2026. You need the base game.
Can I play with a friend who did not buy it?
For Steam co-op, CookieDev answers yes: only the host needs Ashen Creek. See developer reply #8 in the linked DLC event discussion. This review has one direct developer source for that rule, checked 30 Oct 2026; no console ownership rule is established.
